About Our ACE Curriculum

At Sprout International Christian School, we are proud to use the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum, a globally recognized system that combines academic excellence with character development, making it an ideal choice for holistic education. This curriculum fosters not only intellectual growth but also spiritual and moral values, equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in life. Our PACE (Packet of Accelerated Christian Education) system begins from Kindergarten and
continues through Grade 12, offering a structured, individualized, and Christ-centered learning journey tailored to each child’s unique pace and needs, ensuring they achieve their fullest potential.

What Makes the ACE Curriculum Unique?

Individualized Learning.

• Each child progresses at their own pace using PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education), which are workbooks tailored to their current academic level. • Students master concepts before moving forward, ensuring strong foundational knowledge.

Skill Mastery and Personal Accountability.

• The PACE system emphasizes goal setting, self-discipline, and accountability, enabling students to take ownership of their learning. • Regular assessments within each PACE ensure thorough comprehension and skill mastery.

How does ACE Compare to the Ugandan Curriculum?

While the ACE curriculum is distinct in its individualized approach, it shares similarities with the Ugandan curriculum in ensuring comprehensive academic coverage. Both systems emphasize: • Core subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English. • Holistic education that includes moral and ethical instruction.

Our Trained Teachers

All our teachers have undergone rigorous training in the ACE curriculum, equipping them to: • Guide students through the PACE system effectively. • Support individualized learning while ensuring academic excellence. • Foster a nurturing environment that integrates faith, academics, and character-building.

Kindergarten:

Early learners focus on foundational skills such as reading, writing, and numbers, paired with Biblical stories and values.

High School (Grades 9-12):

Students work toward graduation with PACEs tailored to their career goals, including options for vocational skills or college preparation.

Character and Values-Based Education.

• Biblical principles are integrated into all subjects, fostering not only academic growth but also character development, including integrity, responsibility, and perseverance.

Customizable Pathways.

•The ACE curriculum allows students to tailor their education to their individual strengths, interests, and career aspirations, while still meeting global academic standards. Kindergarten and continues through Grade 12, providing a structured, individualized, and Christ-centered learning journey.

However, ACE goes further by,

• Allowing students to progress at their own speed rather than within a fixed class framework. • Incorporating Christian values directly into lessons, creating a faith-based learning environment. • Preparing students for international opportunities with a globally recognized educational framework.

Our PACE System: Kindergarten to Grade 12

The ACE curriculum is structured into PACEs, which cover every grade level from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Elementary Grades:

Students build on foundational knowledge, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills in core subjects.

Your infant will be in a safe and comfortable environment designed to stimulate and amuse him or her at all levels of development. The infant program is flexible and accommodating to each child’s schedule and needs, with activities based on the children’s interests. During circle time, we sing songs and read age appropriate books with each other. When weather permits, we’ll go for walks around the block in triple strollers or play outside in our large play yard.

The large, bright playroom includes colorful mats, a story area, and an assortment of age appropriate toys. We provide high chairs and cribs for the younger children and tables and cots for the older children.

Staff in the Infant Area don’t just care for your child’s needs. They stimulate your child’s curiosity and eagerness to learn through:

    • Songs

    Step by Step

    Teachers: Hope, Rachel

Your little toddler is busy learning, approaching the world with curiosity and seeking a sense of belonging. Our toddler program encourages the children to build a community in an environment that supports learning together and caring for each other.

The toddlers eat meals at tables together and enjoy an open concept playroom with free play and weekly activities that promote exploration and learning. The children play daily in the outdoor playground, or on days when the weather doesn’t cooperate, they’ll play in our large indoor gym. During the summer, experiences such as a petting zoo and puppet shows are brought into the centre.

    A toddler’s day consists of:

    • Self-selected play
    • Reading books
    • Circle time
    • Focused learning
    • Singing songs
    • Sensory experiences
    • Finger Plays
